Community Festivals

Celebrate the season at a pair of community festivals Friday, December 4. Prior Lake’s DecemBRRRR Dazzle runs from 6PM – 8:30 pm at Lakefront Park and features ice carving demonstrations, a bonfire with the fire department, glass blowing and more. Plus, kids can get their picture with Santa and his reindeer. Shakopee’s Holiday Fest from 6 – 8 pm includes caroling, horse drawn carriage rides and the annual countdown to the lighting of the tree. Double your fun by stopping at both!

12 Days of Christmas Times Two

Mystic Lake and Canterbury Park are in the giving spirit this holiday season with a pair of promotions. In addition, Canterbury Park is offering twelve days of their own with drawings and giveaways starting December 9.

You don’t have to travel to Broadway or Las Vegas to experience a world-class cirque spectacular. The spirit of the season comes to life in Borealis – The Holiday Magic Continues at Mystic Lake. It’s a holiday treat for the whole family featuring jaw-dropping performances by aerialists, acrobats, daredevils and more. Matinee and evening performances run through December 13.

Mid States Poker Tour

The Mid-States Poker Tour has become one for the premier poker tournaments in the country. This month, the Tour returns to Canterbury Park December 4 – 13 with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. You can win your way to the $1,000 main event for as little as $65.
