Big Fall Fun in RiverSouth
October is screaming with excitement in the Land of Big Fun! Discover a shocking array of the biggest and best in fall entertainment this month.
The Midwest’s premier poker tournament, the Fall Poker Classic, is at Canterbury Park now through October 16. Get in on the action with more than 30 tournaments of various formats and buy-ins.
Night Nation Run, the world’s first running music festival, returns to Canterbury Park on October 15. Registration is $60 and includes Night Nation T-shirt, race bib, glow necklace and admission into the Night Nation after party. First wave starts at 7:00 p.m.
Sever’s Fall Festival and Corn Maze
The Midwest’s original Fall Festival and Corn Maze is celebrating its 20th year of family fun in RiverSouth. Sever’s Fall Festival and Corn Maze features family-friendly activities including an exotic petting zoo, extreme corn pit, magic shows, antique tractors, fire trucks and so much more through October 30. Tickets are just $15; kids 3 and under are free. Sever’s is open Fridays 1:00 – 8:00 pm, Saturdays 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Sundays 10:00 am – 6:00 pm with free parking.

Trail of Terror
Trail of Terror returns for its 23rd year in RiverSouth with more than 2.5 miles of scares and horrors, indoors and out. Explore Howling Pines Woods Walk, tackle the largest indoor heated maze in the Twin Cities metro, and top off your night with craft beer and cocktails at Club Scream.
A large infestation of zombies has been spotted in the nearby woods of the Trail of Terror and your help is needed to get them out. Recruit your soldiers and take them on in Zombie Paintball!
The Phantom’s Feast is always a favorite. Enjoy an evening of magic and mystery that will terrify and delight you. Join Jim Cunningham for a Dark Carnival experience, four-course meal and commemorative souvenir.
Do you have what it takes to escape? Try the new Escape Room! You and your team of squires will be locked in a castle room with only 20 minutes to figure out how to get out.
Lace up your shoes for the Running Dead 5K on Saturday, Oct. 22. Runners follow a path through the woods of terror, evading zombies lurking throughout the course to make it to the finish. Admission to Trail of Terror, T-shirt and a free Woodchuck Cider is include with registration.
Trail of Terror is open select dates Fridays through Sundays through October 30. Gates open 7:00 pm to 12:30 am Fridays and Saturdays and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm Sundays, rain or shine. Parking is free.
Party like a rock star at Rock, Brats & Beer October 14 and 15. It’s a free two-day outdoor bash celebrating music, food and fun. Challenge your friends to play carnival games like giant beer pong and bungee basketball for prizes. Chow down on bratwurst, cheddarwurst or Italian sausage, and chase it with an ice cold beer or cider. Rock out to free live music both days, with headliners Firehouse on Friday night and Warrant on Saturday night.
It’s going to be a spooktacular party Saturday, October 29 when all manner of ghosts, goblins and creatures take over Mystic Lake! The free Halloween party starts at 7:00 pm with live DJs on two separate stages. Show off your costumed creativity and register for the costume contest from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The best five costumes win, and the Grand Prize winner gets $1,000 cash!
