It’s the inaugural Basset Hound Races on Sunday, August 18. These cute short-legged hounds will make their way down the track in the ultimate basset hound battle. There’s fun for the entire family with free pony rides and face painting for the kids. Note, only dogs approved to race are allowed onsite.
Labor Day is going to the dogs at Canterbury Park with the Bark in the Park Championship. Winners from the four adorable dog races: bulldogs, corgis, wiener dogs and newest addition basset hound, will race to see which dog wins claims the top dog prize.
