Summer is in full swing in the Land Of Big Fun. In July, RiverSouth is packed with family friendly events, concerts, art festivals and more.

Grammy and Oscar-winning rock icon Melissa Etheridge is coming to Mystic Showroom on Thursday, July 5. The singer/songwriter is known for her deeply personal lyrics and memorable hits like “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window.” See this rock pioneer live.

Valleyfair is your summer center for all things fun with thrilling coasters, waterpark splashes and more. Now you can add movies to the list. On Wednesdays, July 11 through August 15, at 6pm head to Midway Movies in Galaxy Theatre for family friendly movies and a FREE bag of buttery popcorn (while supplies last).

Mark Saturday, July 14 on your calendar so you don’t miss fan favorite Extreme Day at Canterbury Park. It’s a real zoo when camels, zebras and ostriches take over the track for the wildest races you’ll see all summer. Plus the kids can enjoy pony rides, face painting and more.

Valleyfair is the most delicious place to be during their Minnesota Eats on Saturdays and Sundays from July 15 through August 5. Picture hotdishes, juicy lucys, s’mores, and more.

Uniquely Minnesotan foods can be paired with locally brewed beer while Minnie & The Saint Pauls, Valleyfair’s house band, play the biggest hits from the last 50 years.

Trevor Noah, the successful comedian and host of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central is bringing his comedy to Mystic Lake on Saturday, July 21. Don’t miss this opportunity to see one of the most recognized comedians today. Get your tickets here.

Canterbury Park is taking it to the streets on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22 at the Street Art Festival. Enjoy graffiti, chalk and other unique creations from local artists. There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids to enjoy too. While you’re at Canterbury Park, create your own masterpiece on Sunday, July 22 at Painting and Ponies.

Craft beer fans should head to Canterbury Park on Saturday, July 21 BeerFest. They’ll have hundreds of unique craft beers to treat your taste buds.

The longest running and largest traveling music festival in the United States, the Vans Warped Tour®, makes its final stop at Canterbury Park on Sunday, July 22. See top punk rock bands like 3OH!3, Reel Big Fish and many more.

The Great Midwest Rib Fest returns to Mystic Lake for its fifth year on Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29. It’s three days of free concerts, ribs and outdoor fun. War, Foghat and LeAnn Rimes are just some of the free music you can enjoy. We’ll see you there!

It’s a special Ladies Night at Canterbury Park on Friday, July 27 with the Canterbury Park Cocktail Classic. Enjoy sample craft cocktails from local distilleries, appetizers and live music from Jonah and the Whales. And of course, on-track live racing action.

Hot Dog! Weiner Dog racing returns to the track on Saturday, July 28. Plus to sweeten the day, several donut vendors will be providing tasty treats.

Hot Import Nights is the nation’s largest and most unique indoor/outdoor car, music, and pop-culture festival! It’s going to be a hot night at Canterbury Park on Saturday, July 28.
