Happy Holidays from the Land of Big Fun. RiverSouth is your holiday destination, from holiday concerts to pictures with Santa to holiday shopping, it’s all in RiverSouth.

Get into the holiday spirit at Shakopee’s annual Holiday Fest in Downtown Shakopee on Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1. On Friday, November 30 enjoy the second annual Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Plus enjoy a holiday firework show, photos with Santa, an ice sculpture show and holiday activities. On Saturday, December 1 the festivities continue with a petting zoo, photos with Santa, and plenty of holiday activities­­–plus shopping at all your favorite local retailers.

Mystic Lake has all the action at the final Mixed Martial Arts event of 2018. On Friday, December 7 watch the LFA 56 match and crowning of a new lightweight when powerhouse Austin Hubbard faces top undefeated Brazilian prospect Killys Mota for the vacant strap.

Don’t miss the annual Decemberrrr Dazzle at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake on Friday, December 7. This FREE event is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays. There’s plenty of fun for everyone with lots of activities and of course, Santa and his reindeer will be on hand for photos.

Don’t miss The Tenors “Home for the Holidays: Christmas Classics & The Hits” at Mystic Lake on Thursday, December 13. River Valley Theater Company Youth Studio proudly presents the classic Alice in Wonderland. Take a trip down the rabbit hole and follow Alice on her adventures. Performances are on Friday December 14 and Saturday, December 15.

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Michael Bolton comes to Mystic Lake on Saturday, December 15. Bolton, known for his soulful voice and poignant lyrics will be performing his chart-topping hits and holiday favorites. Get ready for ballads like “When a Man Loves a Woman” and “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.”

The Vietnamese variety show Cho Dong returns to Mystic Lake on Tuesday, December 25 for a show-stopping Christmas show. It’ll be a night to remember with new hits and old classics from the Vietnamese homeland.

Don’t miss country stars Granger Smith and Rodney Atkins when they come to Mystic Lake on Sunday, December 30. Smith, a rapidly rising country star, is known for the smash hit “Backroad Song” and current single “You’re In It.” The chart-topping singer Atkins, will perform favorite tracks like “Take A Back Road,” “It’s America,” “These Are My People,” and songs from his forthcoming album.

Save the Date! The 2019 championship Snocross returns to Canterbury Park on Friday, January 4 and Saturday, January 5.
